Our Mission:

We exist to procure, preserve and promote the rich history of curling in Manitoba and to honour the outstanding accomplishments of curlers, builders, curler/builders and teams.

Our Museum:

Currently, the Manitoba Curling Museum comprises approximately 40,000 items, including documents, historic images, and materials & items showcasing Manitoba's curling history. As it is currently financially prohibitive to operate a physical museum - we are focused on the development of our on-line virtual museum.

Our Hall of Fame:

Annually, we consider nominations for inclusion in the Manitoba Curling Hall of Fame for teams, individual curlers, and builders who have contributed significantly to the legend and legacy of Manitoba curling on the provincial, national and international level. A complete listing of our Hall of Fame's honoured members is included at our Virtual Museum/Hall of Fame website (www.mbcurlmuseum.com).

Our Need:

Our Hall of Fame project is self-sufficient, thanks to an annual induction and fund-raising dinner. Although much of the work of our museum is handled by volunteers, the project  does have an annual operations budget to cover such costs as storage, insurance and administration. Additionally, there is the investment in the development and continuing improvement of the virtual museum site. Occasionally, in the case of a particularly significant item, we may invest in an acquisition.

Contributions, which are eligible for a Charitable donations receipt, support these operational expenses of the Manitoba Curling Hall of Fame & Museum Inc.
