Your donation supports an individual with aphasia or other communication disabilities to access supportive communication training through our Aphasia and Communication Disabilities Program. Aphasia is a communication disorder that can impact speech, as well as the way one writes or understands spoken and written language.  Individuals with aphasia benefits from speech therapy, which can help regain language skills. Funding goes towards supportive communication workshops for people and families living with aphasia and other communication disabilities.
