Markham Wesley Centre (MWC)
MWC is co-located with Markham Peoples Community Church (MPCC) at 22 Esna Park Drive having a space of 15,000 sq. ft. It was established to serve the residents of the culturally diverse communities of Markham and Richmond Hill in the York Region.
Its core mission is to enhance the holistic wellness of the community members and act as an outreach arm of Markham Peoples Community Church to spread Jesus’ love.
Since its opening in December 2014, the MWC has grown to more than 2,000 registered members, with an average of 300 members participating in different activities at the Centre each day before the pandemic. These include ESL for new immigrants, volleyball, badminton, table tennis, pickle ball, basketball, etc. We also have our own community choir, cooking classes, photography, fitness, computer and various other activities for all ages.
