Our Mission
The Marpole Oakridge Family Place Society (MOFP) is a Family Resource Program that supports and offers resources for parents, caregivers and young children from infant to early six.
Families are assisted with the healthy development of children through a wide range of programs and services.
MOFP offers programs for Seniors and Vulnerable Adults and Literacy programs.
We offer:
- A well resourced environment that promotes parenting coping skills through support and education
- A stimulating and safe space for parents, children and community members to interact with each other.
- A respectful atmosphere for families of different cultural and socio-economic backgrounds
- A welcoming, supportive and relaxing environment in which parents, caregivers and children can meet to socialize, play and learn.

Marpole Oakridge Family Place is a not-for-profit organization which has been supporting families and children aged 0-6 years for over 38 years. Our purpose is to promote the health and well-being of parents, caregivers and young children. Programs are offered in a stimulating and supportive environment that promotes parenting confidence, enhances early childhood development and builds community while respecting the diverse cultural and socio-economic experiences of families.
