The Martensville Community Recreation Project (MCRP) is a volunteer-led registered charity formed by community members who fundraise to give the young and growing community a multipurpose sports facility. Thanks to the generosity of donors and community supporters, we have raised over $1.138M over 8 years through annual events. MRCP’s ultimate goal is to provide this year-round multipurpose facility for the residents of Martensville and the surrounding region.

Ensuring children and youth are encouraged to be physically active is not enough. They must also have every opportunity to do so.

Participation in a desired healthy physical activity of choice should never be impeded by lack of accessibility resulting from a lack of facilities within a community such as ours. Unfortunately, sport and recreation participation and the associated benefits for our community's children, youth and adults are limited or even eliminated because of inadequate recreational facilities.

A new regional multipurpose facility will overcome the challenges of the growing demands today and build for tomorrow. It will be a place where the heartbeat of the community is felt, and where our vision to have families, friends, and the community play and grow together in a safe, active, and healthy environment will be realized - promoting healthy, active living for all.

The need, the vision and the plan are clear. The community is ready and the time to build is now.
