Our Mission
Mayne Island Health Centre Association (MIHCA) works with the Island Health Authority (IHA), local health professionals, other community organizations and residents to ensure that Mayne Islanders have access to as many health and wellness services as possible. MIHCA also spearheads fund-raising campaigns to enhance health care through specific initiatives such as new programs, services, equipment, and expansion.
About MAYNE ISLAND HEALTH CENTRE ASSOCIATION
With community input, MIHCA and health service providers work together to set priorities for allocation of these funds to ensure high level quality care is available to the residents of Mayne Island. Mayne Island’s health centre houses family physician, nurse practitioner and emergency services as well as an array of complementary health care support services.
