God continues to use Medeba to do kingdom work and we continue to experience ministry growth. Medeba now has the privilege and responsibility of seeing nearly 5000 unique guests visit Medeba each year. It is exciting to see Medeba’s mission of “challenging young people to say yes to God” healthy and growing.
Growing gains come with growing pains…
As the ministry grows, resources to support the ministry must also grow with it. One of those resources that have grown is our year-round staff team. It is wonderful to be able to have a multi-discipline team that has expertise in so many areas. Medeba now employs 16 wonderful people who serve on our year-round staff team, 2 are part-time and 14 are full-time.
Our office space is being stretched with our growing team and we need more space.
We require a larger meeting room and more offices for our staff. Our answer is to add an 800 square foot addition onto our office that will house a larger meeting room with kitchenette, an extra office and some storage space. We will then renovate our current meeting room into even more offices. Our new office meeting room will also be available to weekend retreat guests.
This investment will cost $68,000 for the addition and renovation.
We have approximately $45,000 in our capital fund for this project and we are counting on friends for the remaining $23,000.
