The humanitarian situation in Gaza is especially alarming: 80% of the Gazan population is already dependent on humanitarian aid to meet its needs.Since hostilities began on October 7, nearly 6,000 people have died and more than 12,000 people have been injured in Gaza. Ending hostilities that target civilians and civilian infrastructure – particularly healthcare facilities – must be an absolute priority given the serious humanitarian and public health disaster that is unfolding in the Gaza Strip.
