The YMCA of Southeastern Alberta (formerly known as the YMCA of Medicine Hat) strengthens communities by inspiring and connecting individuals, youth, and families to reach their full potential through programs that cultivate positive relationships and promote wellness, while increasing skills and knowledge.

Our Services
The YMCA of Southeastern Alberta offers various services within the community, including:
- Downtown Branch - recreation centre with squash courts, rock climbing wall, gymnasium, weight and cardio conditioning areas, swimming pool, group fitness classes, personal training, child minding, summer day camp, and a full slate of child and youth programs
- South Ridge branch - recreation centre with 4 gymnasiums, weight and cardio conditioning areas, walking track, group fitness classes, personal training, child minding, summer day camp, and a full slate of child and youth programs
- 2 Licensed Child Development Centres (infant to 5)
- 11 Licensed Before and After School Care Programs (kinder to grade 6)
- Licensed Community Day Camps for PD Days, School Breaks, and Summer Holidays (kinder to grade 6)
- 2 Employment Centres (Medicine Hat and Brooks)
- Community Programs (Alternative Suspension, YMCA Parent, Community Helpers, etc.)
The YMCA believes everyone should be able to access its programs and services, regardless of financial circumstances. We provide membership and day camp subsidies to anyone who needs help. This initiative is funded by the generous donations made by our community throughout the year.
