Since our first build in 2004, MennoHomes has contributed 105 rental housing units to address the need for affordable housing in Waterloo Region. These have been a mix of single unit apartments for seniors or family duplexes in Kitchener, to multi-bedroom housing for large rural families in Wellesley and Elmira.
In 2017 we completed construction of The Foundry in Elmira. This 25 unit mixed-use apartment building is now providing a safe secure and affordable home for 40 people. Your donation to MennoHomes through CanadaHelps can directly support the construction costs associated with this project.
We are also exploring new opportunities in urban Kitchener-Waterloo. Your financial support of our Seed Fund will help launch our next project.
