Meticulon is an IT Consulting Firm, based out of Calgary, Alberta. We are the first company in Canada to do what we do: assessing, training and employing adults with autism in IT. Since opening our doors in 2013, we have been in the business of change. At Meticulon, we aspire to recognize, and have seen the value of, people over processes. We know that labels can be limiting and do nothing towards describing abilities. We also know that to make a change – you have to be the change.

In 2014, we started sharing our Toolkit – an open-sourced collection of resources and materials - to help other organizations that want to do what we do. In 2015 we started discussions towards the development of an international alliance of like-minded organizations. As of 2016, at least three other businesses have started with our help (and 50+ more have our Toolkit), the international alliance is underway, we were awarded the Community Impact Award by the Calgary Chamber of Commerce… and we’re still finding meaningful employment opportunities for individuals diagnosed with ASD. 

For 2017, we’d like to see ASD awareness transcend acceptance: we want neurodiversity.
