MTML is planning to organize an in-person conference for literacy learners in the Spring of 2024. The date is May 17,2024 from 10:00am-3:00 pm. This day will bring exciting free workshops, lunch and activities for our learners.

The initial Learners’ Conference was the idea of an MTML board member who was also an adult literacy learner himself. He thought there was a need for learners to have a conference of their own where they could explore a range of interests beyond just literacy learning. Further consultations with learners revealed a significant demand for such an event and the first MTML Learners’ Conference was held in 2003.

There will be 4-5 different workshops that will have topics related to mental, physical, emotional and financial well-being. Free lunch and refreshments will be served and there will be sharing of learners' success stories.
