About MICAH HOUSE
Micah House is a small home that welcomes newly arrived refugees to Canada. In partnership with a large number of individuals, organizations and churches in the Hamilton area, we demonstrate God's love as we welcome newcomers by providing a loving and caring environment for their first few weeks in Canada.
We believe that God's call to "do justice, love mercy and walk humbly with God" includes refugees from all nations, irrespective of ethnicity, religion, or political ideology. Micah House strives to be a place where God's love is felt and communicated within an atmosphere of welcome and peace. Micah House provides shelter and assistance for newly arrived refugees who would otherwise have been homeless upon their arrival in Hamilton.
