About Mile End Community Mission

Mile End Community Mission has been a long-standing pillar in the Mile End Community. An overwhelming number of residents use our services yearly for the betterment of their lives. These services contribute to their emotional, physical and spiritual needs as they continuously strive to become empowered members of this beautiful community.

As the only weekly food bank in all of Mile End, we also provide emergency clothing and food. The centre even acts as a drop-in centre at times providing special meals and a place to go when there is nowhere else to turn.

- Referrals to Legal Clinic

- Advocacy

All in all, Mile End Community Mission supports those in the community that need it the most. There is no other organization in our area that offers the same services as we do.

Receiving only a small amount of our funding from government assistance, the Mission relies heavily on public donations and fundraising events to continue offering these crucial services.
