Millennium Support & Care Group is a registered non-profit charitable organization serving the Greater Toronto Area, York Region an beyond. Since 1999, we are dedicated to supporting the optimum quality of life for seniors, the ill, and the disabled through home care and community and social service projects.

OUR VISION

Our goals are to alleviate feelings of isolation which are often felt in the socially neglected communities by organizing activities such as congregate dining, friendly visiting, and other social and recreational events.  Special care is provided for seniors with Alzheimer and Dementia.

OUR MISSION

Millennium Support & Care Group improves health and life outcomes for seniors,  and the most vulnerable individuals in the community such as persons with Alzheimer and Dementia, the ill and the disabled. We achieve this through our health and wellness programs,  which include recreational, physical activities, social activities that we organize througout the GTA region.

OBJECTIVES

To support and educate seniors, the disabled, and persons with Dementia and Alzheimer in achieving active and healthy lifestyles

To encourage physical fitness and activites among the senior group

To provide information and instruction regarding healthy eating and nutritional habits

To alleviate any fellings of isolation by giving the opportunity to socialize on a regular basis

To create a positive change in life our our seniors, persons with special needs as in our community

PROGRAMS

Since 1999,  we have organized many programs. These include:

Taking care of Yourself, Your Family and Friends, Relatives and Others on Safety, about prevention of Osteoporosis,

Feel Better, Live Better, on Chronic care Illnesses,

Don't take my Sunshine Away Dear, on Elder Abuse prevention
