Mississauga Pops Concert Band plays a wide variety of music including classical, jazz, Broadway, movie themes, swing, folk, pop, traditional, gaming music, and rock. We have an entire folder of "danceable" material that we use for tea dance fundraisers, and another folder of seasonal music used at Christmas. Potential new members may be interested to know that our repertoire includes selections in the intermediate to advanced range. From an audience perspective, we have a wide selection of toe-tappers and familiar classics in keeping with a "Pops" concert.

The Mississauga Pops is a membership based group of local musicians who get together to share their love of music. All members are non-paid and volunteer their time to run the administrative work, along with spending time volunteering at Rama Charitable Gaming House in Mississauga to raise funds for our operating costs (music director, music, rehearsal rent space, insurance, theatre and park rental, guest musicians, etc) and to off-set the concert pricing and even provide many free concerts to the people of Mississauga and surrounding area.
