Our Mission
We strive to rescue animals in need regardless of their age, physical condition or adoptability. Our ultimate goal is to find a permanent loving home for each of these animals where they can enjoy love and freedom, which all animals deserve. Our Mission is to establish a safe haven/shelter for all these rescued animals where they are wanted, honored and loved, where they will live in a happy and free environment until a permanent home is found.
About MISSISSAUGA HUMANE SOCIETY
Founded in 1999, The Mississauga Humane Society is a non-profit, 100% VOLUNTEERS RUN, registered charity dedicated to the rescue of companion animals who otherwise may not be given a second chance. We also retrieve stray cats to spare them from the harsh outdoor life. All our animals are neutered/spayed after rescue, unless the animal is too young or not in good health.
