About MOCEAN DANCE SOCIETY

Founded in 2001, Mocean Dance is a creation company led by Co-Artistic Directors Susanne Chui and Sara Coffin. Mocean produces and tours new work annually, showcasing collaborations with some of North America's finest choreographers. In every performance, Mocean's repetoire highlights its dancers' versatility with work that infuses technical skill with emotional depth and exceptional professionalism.

Mocean brings audiences work that is visually complex, engaging, thought provoking, and emotionally rich. The company's work is athletic and compelling, and includes repertoire by Canadian choreographers Serge Bennathan,Tedd Robinson, Sharon Moore, Lesandra Dodson, Susan Elliott, Cory Bowles, Allen and Karen Kaeja, Howard Richard, Roger Sinha, Andrea Leigh Smith, Michael Trent, Lisa Phinney Langley and Sara Coffin.

Mocean is committed to being based in Nova Scotia and contributing to its dance and arts community by providing opportunities for creation, performance, collaboration, development and education.
