About MOMS Canada - Where single moms find hope.
MOMS Canada offers a one-of-a-kind, 12-week, single mom support group while offering mentorship, friendship, programming, and practical tools to create positive and lasting change.
Each Chat & Connect session focuses on a topic that single moms can relate to. We watch a short video and learn practical tools to help us navigate these challenges.
Topics include:
- Legal concerns
- Budgeting
- Parenting Teens
- Being a Single Mom of a Child with Special Needs
- Dating Advice
- Recovering from Trauma
Resources/Referral Services - Upon initial contact with single moms, we connect moms with the proper organization, agency and/or individual that is the best equipped to assist.
We are also continually working to expand our Resource Page for self-directed assistance and referrals.
MOMS Canada Mentors attend our Empowered Moms sessions alongside all our single moms. They facilitate discussion time at the table groups, encourage moms, pray for them, and give a listening ear or a needed hug. Throughout the 12-week program, it is our goal that you will be able to develop forever friendships with both moms and mentors. These mentors are not only trained but are also willing to dedicate their time to offer support, friendship, and guidance.
