The Moose Hide Campaign began with a single hunting trip—a father and daughter on the land, grappling with the urgent need to create a safer world for their loved ones. Inspired by the powerful teachings of the land and the responsibility to protect women and children, they tanned a moose hide and cut it into small squares, gifting them as a symbol of commitment to ending violence.

What started as a small act of love and hope has grown into a national movement, inviting all Canadians to stand together in ceremony, learning, and action. Rooted in Indigenous teachings, the Moose Hide Campaign empowers individuals, families, workplaces, and communities to take a stand—wearing the pin, joining in ceremony, sparking conversations, and walking the path of reconciliation.
