Moose Jaw Family Services (MJFS) has been a trusted support organization in Moose Jaw and the surrounding rural communities since 1977. We are a non-profit dedicated to strengthening families and individuals by providing accessible counseling, education, and essential resources that promote emotional, physical, and economic well-being.

Our programs focus on family support and mental health services to ensure that all community members—especially diverse and underserved populations—have the tools they need to thrive.

Our Key Programs Include:

• Counseling Services – Affordable, confidential mental health support for individuals, couples, families, and children.
• Child & Youth Programs – Specialized counseling, education, and mentorship for youth ages 7 to 25, helping them build resilience and life skills.
• Family Support & Diversion Program – Helping families navigate challenges by providing early intervention, advocacy, and resources to strengthen family relationships and prevent crisis situations.
• Food Security Initiatives – Including the Fresh Food Box program, Emergency Food Hampers, Fresh Produce & Dairy Voucher program, and Community Kitchens, which provide nutritious food and teach essential cooking skills.
• Community Engagement & Education – Workshops, support groups, and outreach efforts to foster a stronger, more connected community.
