Mount Dennis Baptist Church is a small but resilient Christian community located in the heart of Toronto’s Mount Dennis neighbourhood. Since 1908, our church has stood as a place of prayer, refuge, hope, and belonging for generations. Our building, standing since 1924, has welcomed thousands over the years, offering comfort, worship, community support, and the love of Jesus Christ.
At a time when many historic churches in Canada are closing their doors (research shows over 9,000 places of worship may close by 2030), Mount Dennis Baptist Church is still here, still serving, still loving, and still growing. We are grateful to God for sustaining us through 117 years of ministry, celebrated in October 2025.
But the reality is that we are a small congregation with limited financial resources. Maintaining a 100-year-old building, providing community support, and serving vulnerable populations require more than we can do alone. We need your help to continue the work God has entrusted to us.
