Le Mouvement SEM (Sensibilisation pour une enfance meilleure) is a community non-profit organisation located in Saint-Jeadn-sur-Richelieu that has been supporting families for more than thirty-five (35) years. Our team offers help to vulnerable families who find themselves experiencing a precarious emotional or economic situation, such as: separation, loss of work, depression, illness, addiction, violence, etc.
Our mission is to promote the well-being of children through activities focussed on prevention, awareness and intervention, via weekly home visits to families. We offer preschool children workshops to stimulate development, and for older children, homework help. These activities take place at our locality.
