In August, the Move for Life team is doing a 1600km relay around our province of Ontario! Yes, 1600km. Our objective is to reduce the waitlist for an organ transplant.Currently, there are approximately 1600 people waiting for a transplant in Ontario. Unfortunately, many don't make it in time to receive the gift of life. Our relay will increase awareness about the need for organ transplant, and we willcontinue to raise money to reach our $250,000 goal to support the purchase of specialized equipment for L.H.S.C! The objective is to cover the whole distance within a week, around the clock, running, cycling and/or swimming.We have 10 teams, each team covers approximately 160km.As this is a fund-raising event, each team will have a fund-raising objective of $5,000.
