The Museum of Paleontology and Evolution (MPE) has a laboratory where its fossil collections are stored. Located in private premises in the South-West borough of Montreal, the laboratory also serves as a preparation workshop, library, and administrative offices for the MPE.
Temporary exhibitions are presented in existing venues in Montreal or the surrounding area, in partnership with designated institutions. In 2020, our latest exhibition was on display at the Musée du Fjord, in Saguenay.
We are currently looking for a permanent building capable of accommodating our collection of over 80,000 paleontological, zoological and geological specimens, as well as exhibition spaces to showcase the collection to the general public.
