About MY STORY PHOTO PROJECT ASSOCIATION
The MY STORY photo project provides entry level digital cameras and photo instruction to small groups of Karen and Burmese refugees on the Thai/Burma border. The project has also worked with street kids in Mexico and Tibetan refugees in India.
Students edit their work into an exhibition which travels around the world. Prints are for sale with proceeds split 50/0 between the photographer and the project.
The project also trains project participants to run photo workshops on their own.
