Nanaimo Association for Community Living (NACL) is an accredited, non-profit organization promoting inclusivity for and providing programs and services to people with diversabilities (formerly developmental disabilities) since July 1986 - including staffed residential, community inclusion, home sharing, and employment services, along with our multi-sensory environment known as the Snoezelen Room.   

Our Mission Statement is:  “Through an unwavering commitment to delivering high quality services with integrity, to actively support as many people with diversabilities as possible in their journey to lead thriving lives.”  We pride ourselves on being transparent, consumer-driven, and person-centered, focusing on providing quality of life – we strive to respond and design our services to the wants and needs of those we serve.  NACL’s longevity attests to our resilience, tenacity, and innovative spirit – because our Vision is “a world where all people with diversabilities thrive.”
