NYSA operates as a not-for-profit to provide services and programs to young people principally in the Nanaimo and Courtenay regions of British Columbia. We assist youth and young adults to reach their full potential by operating programs to:
- provide safe, secure transitional housing
- support, promote and encourage youth to become productive citizens;
- build self-esteem and confidence;
- encourage the development of respectful relationships;
- foster the self-care, safety and stability of at-risk youth;
Our services are almost always free and available to all youth within the age group of 15 to 29 years.
