We’re dead set on creating natural burial grounds - expansive meadows and forests that follow all the cemetery laws but don’t look like cemeteries at all. Imagine a tall grass meadow, or a quiet forest - that’s a natural burial ground! Our first ‘dedicated’ natural burial ground (eg, not attached to a conventional cemetery) will be in Ontario, with others to follow.
Natural burial grounds are sanctuaries for the dead and the living, offering people a final resting place in nature.
