Nebula Academy

Nurturing faith, knowledge, and excellence for Pre-K through Grade 9 students since 2014

Nebula Academy started its journey as an accredited independent school at its present location in 2014. Nebula Academy offers elementary (Grade 1 to 6) and junior high (Grade 7 to 9) level education programs in addition to early childhood services (ECS). ECS includes kindergarten (KG) and educational programming for children as young as 3 years of age at our school.

Nebula Academy implements the Alberta Education curriculum at all levels of education offered at the school and follows the Alberta program of studies. Required subjects in each grade are taught by the homeroom teachers who are certified by Alberta Education.

Nebula Academy prioritizes the academic excellence of its students and allocates every available resource to meet the needs of its students. The program outputs are screened by summative and formative assessments. Our aim is to create a fulfilling school environment in which the students feel a sense of belonging and nourish themselves as individuals who are academically equipped, at peace with themselves and others, and have acceptance of diversity.

Along with the Alberta Education curriculum, Nebula Academy introduces Islamic program from KG to grade 9. Islamic program includes the subjects of Quran Studies, Islamic Studies, and Arabic Language, which are embedded in the instructional hours. The delivery of these subjects depends on the grade level and in accordance with the workload of the Alberta curriculum and the provincial assessments.
