Neebing Fire/Rescue Association was created over 30 years ago as an initiative to create an independent Volunteer Fire Department in the newly amalgamated municipality of Neebing, Ontario. The main objectives are : (1) To provide financial assistance and support for the Neebing Emergency Services. (2) To assist the Neebing Emergency Services in promoting and providing educational and recreational programs. (3) To raise monies by conducting fund-raising activities.

Fundraising activities are also community builders with Tailgate events and Bake sales bringing together the community for a common cause.
