Our Mission
Our Mission is to provide support, information and assistance to families challenged by NF, work closely with clinical and research professionals who specialize in the treatment of NF, help fund and drive research and provide information about Neurofibromatosis to physicians and the public to familiarize them with the disorder for early recognition and diagnosis.
NF IS A PROGRESSIVE COMPLEX DISORDER WHICH CAN CAUSE DEVASTATING COMPLICATIONS.
OUR HOPE IS THAT RESEARCH NOT ONLY ELIMINATES OCCURRENCE OF NF BUT ALSO DIMINISHES PROGRESSION OF THE DISORDER IN THOSE INDIVIDUALS AFFECTED AND IMPROVE MONITORING, STANDARD OF CARE, TREATMENT OPTIONS AND QUALITY OF LIFE.

The Neurofibromatosis Ontario( Neurofibromatosis Society of Ontario) is a registered non profit charity, founded in 1985 and completely managed by volunteers. We maintain a transparent financial profile and all donations are deeply appreciated and thoughtfully administered for maximum impact and benefit, including research, support, NF education and information,annual meetings with related speakers and events which offer families and individuals with NF an opportunity to network, share feelings and concerns in a friendly atmosphere of acceptance and inclusion.
