Our Mission
The Board of Directors for the New Animal Shelter for Uxbridge-Scugog was formed in response to the increasing animal care and control needs of Scugog and Uxbridge Townships and the deteriorating state of the current shelter building. It is the goal of this not-for-profit organization to raise funds to support the development of a new shelter, create communications and community awareness around this important initiative, and to coordinate the actual construction process utilizing the combined efforts of community-based volunteers and paid professionals.
