New Hope Dog Rescue is a registered non-profit and foster-based organization that has been rescuing and re-homing dogs in need since 2003. Our mission? To provide a safe, foster-based environment for neglected and unwanted dogs, while promoting the human-animal bond through education and community outreach. We actively promote responsible dog ownership and work to address the issue of pet overpopulation. Every dog in our care is placed with a loving foster home, where they receive the attention and support they need until they find their forever family. All dogs are vet-checked and receive necessary medical care, from core needs like vaccinations, deworming, microchipping, and spay/neuter, to more extensive treatments such as dental work, skin condition therapy, or corrective surgery when required. Since our founding, we’ve helped over 4,300 dogs find loving homes! From 29 adoptions in our first year in 2003 to 312 in 2021 alone, our impact has only grown thanks to an incredible community of adopters, fosters, donors, and volunteers. So, why adopt a dog from New Hope Dog Rescue? We have four key reasons! First, all dogs are vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed/neutered (if over 5 months). Secondly, dogs are fostered in home settings, helping them become well-socialized family members. Third, we offer lifelong support—if you can no longer care for your dog, we’ll welcome them back into our foster program.
