NRT is an Indigenous-led organization that provides accessible funding to First Nation communities & organizations and bursaries & scholarships to Indigenous Peoples across B.C. 

The NRT was established to be a transformative funding hub to empower First Nations capacity-building towards healthy, resilient and thriving communities through non-repayable grants that close the socio-economic gaps in First Nation communities while enabling sustainable participation in  areas important to each community. 

The NRT offers impactful programs that respects indigenous knowledge and approaches in achieving positive outcomes.

The NRT offers various funding opportunities that include, community nation-building, clean energy & diesel reduction projects, food security & agriculture initiatives, equity matching grants for indigenous entrepreneurs, regulated cannabis participation,  governance capacity, employment & labour market initiatives, Elders & Youth initiatives, Indigenous K-12 education, and post-secondary bursaries & scholarships.
