Founded by newcomer women in 1983, Newcomer Women’s Services Toronto (NEW) provides specialized, women-centred programs and services that help newcomer women establish their lives in Canada. Our holistic approach recognizes that language, employment, safety, family and community are deeply connected, and we bring these supports together to help women build on their strengths and pursue their own goals.
Through NEW, newcomer women can:
- Build strong foundations with English language learning, settlement guidance and help accessing essential services.
- Explore new opportunities through skills training, employment support, mentorship and leadership development.
- Create lasting connections through opportunities to meet other women, share experiences and build community.
Your support keeps this work available to more women, creating a ripple effect that extends to their families, workplaces and communities as they contribute their skills, perspectives and experience. WITH YOU, more NEW journeys are possible.
