NexusBC Community Resource Centre is a registered charitable organization that supports individuals and families across the North Okanagan with practical resources and trusted services that enhance lives.

Our vision is a supportive and connected community where people are empowered to enhance their lives and experience meaningful, lasting impact.

A core part of our work is supporting low-income seniors - many of whom are living alone and facing increasing financial and health challenges.

Too often, seniors in our community are forced to make impossible choices: paying rent or buying groceries, skipping fresh food because it’s too expensive, or missing medical appointments because they don’t have transportation. Essential items like dentures, hearing aids, and eyeglasses are often completely out of reach.

NexusBC is here to help.

We provide food supports, transportation to medical appointments and grocery shopping, free income tax preparation and pension application assistance, and housing and home support resources. We also offer programs and gatherings that reduce isolation and help seniors stay connected, informed and supported.

Behind every service is a team of dedicated staff and volunteers who ensure that each person who walks through our doors is met with care, respect and practical support.
