Our Mission
Niagara Warehouse of Hope, whose motto is "Helping People Help Themselves" collects medical, educational and other reusable
goods for new service in under-developed countries.
About NIAGARA WAREHOUSE OF HOPE
A non-denominational, apolitical organization, Niagara Warehouse of Hope is run by a volunteer board with approximately 100 volunteers. Almost all the equipment and supplies we ship have been donated by area hospitals, schools and/or businesses. Some of our volunteers sew baby layettes for poor mothers in equally poor countries. Others among us calibrate eyeglasses for distribution by volunteer opticians donating their time in poor areas. NWofH sponsors outreach programs such as Project Harvest, teaching locals food nutritional values and providing sweat-hose irrigational systems for villages in Guatemala; and Project Africa, which is now building an orphanage in Uganda.
NWofH ships only to organizations which have been cleared for their credibility, reliability and ability to handle the shipments.
Other than 2 giant garage sales, NWofH is completely dependent on donor-service clubs, churches, individuals and businesses for operational expenses.
