THE NADY LOGO: Our logo embodies our organization. The heart of NADY is the individual represented in the middle of the logo – the child with special needs. The circle represents inclusion. The friends on either side signify the importance of friendships, community and acceptance. The book and ball represent the opportunities that we provide. NADY's goal is to improve and implement services to enhance the lives of children and young adults living with special needs.
ABOUT US: The Nipissing Association for Disabled Youth (NADY) is a registered charity with the mandate to improve and implement services for youth with physical and developmental challenges in North Bay and surrounding area. NADY is unique in that its board of directors are parents of children with special needs that work together and support each other through similar challenges. We are also 100% volunteer operated.
OUR GOALS: To offer the best services and programs possible so that youth with special needs can develop and obtain their fullest potential. To educate and increase public awareness to foster an inclusive community that values the uniqueness of its citizens. To bring parents of children with physical and/or developmental challenges together so they can exchange knowledge, share experiences and lend valuable support.
