At the Norfolk Community Help Centre, we know that sometimes all it takes to change the world is a little support. Since our beginning in 1991, we have been having an impact through the service provided to those who visit us. Our goal is to have the supports available to serve the needs of our community. Our mission is to enable people to become full participants in Canadian society. Since the early 90’s some of these supports have changed, but what remains the same is our fresh ideas and assistance which make the world a better place - one person or family - at a time. We provide newcomer assistance, Plautdietsch language translation for Low-German Mennonites, and family support. We also run a program helping women to learn the English language (reading, writing, and comprehension). Educating and empowering women creates strong families and communities.
