The North Island Crisis and Counselling Centre Society is a community-based, not-for-profit charitable organization, registered under the Societies act in the Province of British Columbia and a charitable organization registered under the federal Charities Act of Canada. We offer a broad range of counselling and community support services in the Mount Waddington Regional District and central coast. Our programs are delivered in diverse ways to best suit the needs of those we serve, and in a variety of locations. We deliver over 24 programs to people of all ages and these services are professional, prompt, confidential and are, mostly, provided free of charge. 

FOUNDRY PORT HARDY & FOUDNRY PORT MCNEILL

Foundry Port Hardy and Foundry Port McNeill bring mental health and substance use support, primary care, peer support, and social services into one welcoming space for young people ages 12 to 24 and their families. Services are offered at no cost, with no referral needed. Young people walk in and are met with a warm welcome.

Both centres have outgrown the space they are in. In Port Hardy, we are building a purpose-built 5,000 square foot centre on Market Street, with private rooms for appointments, dedicated areas for youth and families, and improved accessibility. In Port McNeill, we are expanding the existing centre so young people in the north of the region find the same welcome closer to where they live.

The Port Hardy build carries a goal of $2 million, and we are working hard to earn and raise these funds - we're 50% to project goal, but we need your help! Construction is targeted to begin in early 2027.
