The North Shore Celtic Ensemble is a non-profit society with a dual mandate: to inspire youth to do more and go further with music, and to use music to build and strengthen connections in communities.
About NORTH SHORE CELTIC ENSEMBLE
The North Shore Celtic Ensemble is a whole new kind of music experience for kids and communities. Through innovative programs and artistic collaborations, sixty kids in three programs are inspired to explore who they are as musicians, to push themselves artistically, and to come into their own as socially-conscious members of the community. What began as celtic is now a spirited no-boundaries repertoire that reflects a wide range of musical influences - celtic, jazz, classical, folk, and more - creating an exciting genre-spanning experience for the players and the audience. Far more than just a performing group, the North Shore Celtic Ensemble is committed to inspiring youth to use music to engage and connect with communities, to live well, and to make a difference in the world.
