Northern Hope Dog Rescue Society is a 100% volunteer run non-profit, registered Canadian charity that focuses on rescuing dogs from remote communities in Canada. These communities often lack access to animal control, veterinary care, and the infrastructure to support and maintain quality of life for the dogs living there. The dogs that come into our care often faced uncertain futures in their communities, with many barriers that hinder their chances of survival. Illness, injury, starvation, exposure, and preventable disease are common for dogs living in remote Canadian communities that don't have access to essential resources and vet care. We work diligently with community members, frontline rescuers and other rescue agencies to save as many lives as our resources allow, while also promoting and supporting community driven humane dog management solutions and increased access veterinary care, including spay/neutering.
