Nous sommes ici

about

Nous sommes ici

Changing the world, one creation at a time.

Changing the way we see is already changing what can be. On stage, we give voice to stories that are often silenced. Voices that go unheard. Realities we tend to avoid. Questions we rarely dare to ask.

By opening up spaces for dialogue and active listening, we create works that challenge, enlighten, and connect. We believe that our initiatives can foster social justice, reduce inequalities, and amplify civic engagement.

12 pressing social issues addressed in Quebec and internationally over the past 15 years

94% of audience members believe documentary theatre has the power to raise awareness of social issues

5 of the United Nations’ 17 Sustainable Development Goals advanced through our projects

Each project is an invitation to see the world differently, together. And every contribution is a concrete way to be part of that change.

Our creations question. Your support tranforms.

We do more than theatre: we create spaces where stories are rooted in reality, where dialogue flows between the stage and the audience, and where each creation becomes a potential turning point. Blending autofiction, documentary, and civic participation, we invite new ways of thinking, of listening to those rarely heard, of getting involved. Our works tackle urgent—and sometimes uncomfortable—questions, but always necessary ones, to fuel public debate and strengthen the social fabric.

Our commitment extends beyond the stage. We mentor emerging artists, build partnerships with human rights organizations, and design outreach initiatives that connect with underserved communities. Every action we take aims to broaden the reach of theatre, turning it into a powerful tool for lasting transformation.

Because for us, to create is to act.

Acting concretely for a more just future

Through our projects, we contribute in tangible ways to the achievement of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). We act as a driver of quality education (SDG 4), reduced inequalities (SDG 10), gender equality (SDG 5), and the building of peaceful, inclusive societies (SDG 16). We also address sustainable consumption and production (SDG 12) by working with an eco-design approach. By bringing to the stage documented, sensitive stories rooted in complex social realities, we create spaces for dialogue, active listening, and collective reflection.

This artistic work strengthens citizens’ ability to understand the issues around them, to speak out, to mobilize, and to take part in transforming their communities. It’s part of a movement toward sustainable change, where culture becomes a driver of social justice, inclusion, and empowerment.
