Nova Home Care is a community-based, not-for-profit organization whose mission is to provide compassionate, high quality, personalized, in-home care to people who are ill or nearing the end of life and families who support them. Nova celebrates 125 years of community support in 2023!

SERVICES

• Palliative Care program including respite for caregivers.

• Home Support program including respite for caregivers.

• Free accredited palliative care training for all CLSC nurses across the Quebec province who wish to broaden their skills.

Our services are offered free of charge by registered nurses, massage therapists, specialized Home Health Aides, and a social worker

IMPACT

• Last year, 575 palliative care patients and their families were assisted and more than 550 primary caregivers were accompanied on the island of Montreal.

• Over 400 nurses were trained in palliative home care by Nova Home Care throughout Quebec since 2019.
