During 2020/2021 Nova Dance began providing Rest Residencies and Compassion Funding to artists. For our 2022/2023 season we partnered with Balancing Act - an organization that creates increased equality, accessibility, and inclusion for parents and caregivers working in the performing arts. Through this partnership we were able to amplify our support to 6 artists towards their caregiving needs for Svāhā! (Toronto), Discover Dance and the upcoming tour of Svāhā! to Vancouver.
This Mother's Day (and for all of Mother's Month!), help Nova Dance kickstart our own fundraising campaign to continue supporting the incredible mothers and caregivers making beautiful art happen as part of the Nova Dance community.
