At Oasis Dufferin Community Centre, we believe that everyone has something to share, something to learn, and something to contribute.

Since 1994, Oasis has been bringing people from different backgrounds and life experiences together to build relationships and support one another. Through our food bank, community meals, seniors’ programs, women’s counselling services, and other activities, we offer practical support while creating opportunities for people to connect, feel welcome, and find a sense of belonging.

Inspired by the example of Jesus, we believe in the importance of compassion, hospitality, and caring for one another. People of all cultures, backgrounds, and beliefs are welcome at Oasis. Everyone brings something different to our community, and we believe we can all learn from one another.

At Oasis, sharing our experiences helps us understand one another better. Learning together allows us to discover new perspectives, build relationships, and grow as individuals and as a community. We want everyone to feel comfortable taking part, sharing what they know, and finding their own way to contribute.

Oasis is a community shaped by the people who are part of it, including participants, staff, volunteers, donors, and supporters. We all have a role to play in making Oasis a place where people feel welcome and connected.
