The OBA Foundation is the charitable arm of the Ontario Bar Association. Its mission is to promote public legal education and innovative legal research to improve the justice system. Ongoing work includes projects that promote public legal education and access to justice such as programs in marginalized communities, high school trial moots and fellowships in law and ethics. The Foundation prioritizes initiatives that promote equity, diversity, and inclusion.
Our current funding priority is the OBA Foundation Scholarship to help deserving students realize their dreams of becoming lawyers. The funds raised will endow the Scholarship, providing an award annually to a deserving student or students entering law school who have demonstrated resilience in overcoming obstacles to reach their goals.
