Oak Bay Volunteer Services (OBVS) has been a trusted part of the Oak Bay community for over 40 years. We provide one-to-one, relationship-centered services that help adults of all ages and abilities stay connected, supported, and independent. Whether it’s a friendly visit, a ride to an appointment, or a hand with small household tasks, our dedicated volunteers ensure that no one in Oak Bay faces life’s everyday challenges alone.

Our services are free and available to anyone living within Oak Bay. With a focus on emotional, social, and practical well-being, OBVS supports residents through companionship, walks, friendly visits, transportation to medical appointments, grocery and food hamper pickup, minor home and garden help, and income tax assistance for low-income residents.

At the heart of OBVS is our team of passionate volunteers who give their time, skills, and compassion to strengthen our community.
