Oceanside Classical Concerts Society

Registered Name: Oceanside Classical Concerts Society

Business Number: 760370098RR0001

We believe that classical music is an essential element in the cultural life of the Oceanside area.  Oceanside Classical Concerts Society is committed to changing lives through music’s extraordinary power to communicate, inspire, uplift and entertain.

We celebrate artistic excellence in classical music through live performance of the world’s great masterpieces by nationally and internationally acclaimed musicians, and promotion of Canadian artists.

Through our guest performers we offer an annual Masterclass where local music students are able to interact with, learn from and perform with these professional musicians. This is a unique and inspirational opportunity for the students.

OCCS is registered as a charity by the Canada Revenue Agency. Our fundraising focus is on building the OCCS Scholarship Fund and achieving the second goal in our society Constitution – “… advance education by providing scholarships based on academic achievement to high school graduates and students enrolled in post-secondary music programs and seeking a music-related career.”

Our Society is dedicated to fostering the future of all forms of music by supporting local aspiring musicians. We invite you to join us in this exciting initiative by donating to the OCCS Scholarship Fund.

OCCS will award one or more scholarships each year based on academic achievement and an adjudicated competition.
